Meet Olga

There are a few things that I'm scared of...this would be one of them. Be careful out there. Sometimes when I'm ready to post a disagreement with a blogger, I wonder if this is what they look like.

So, what are you scared of?

I was scared of swimming out in the ocean to where I couldn't touch the bottom, because I might get swept away by currents. God helped me to face that fear, so I'm not scared anymore. I was scared of divorce in my life since it seems to be so popular, but God has shown me what He has planned. I've seen God's awesome power in nature (bioilluminesense), and in my daily life.

Psalm 27:1- "The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?"

Leviticus 19:14- "You shall....fear your God: I am the Lord."

Crystal, it sounds like you've had a recent event. Do tell us about it.

I myself am afraid of heights, to an extent. I am very afraid of high ferris wheels where you hang in a cage. However, I can ride a rollercoaster with minimal fear. The ferris wheel is slow and unsecure, the coaster is fast and you're harnassed in pretty tight.

When I get up in high places, my legs feel an adrenaline rush and the back of my thighs want to collapse. I think I'm gonna fall. Gosh, I had that feeling.

I'm scared of passing up an opportunity to follow God's will above my own. I'm scared of not following God's will for my life.
